Dead by Daylight demand for return of Nurse to game grows as devs remain silent

Dead by Daylight is a popular multiplayer survival game where you face some of the most iconic characters from horror movies.

In Dead by Daylight, the games are 4 vs 1, where the team of 4 players plays the survivors and the remaining player takes the role of the killer.

One of the favorite Dead by Daylight killers is the Nurse. However, the character has not been available in the game for a couple of weeks now.

Behavior Interactive (the developers of Dead by Daylight) temporarily disabled the Nurse due to the character being broken and having various bugs.

At the time, many Dead by Daylight players celebrated the decision.

But, it seems the Dead by Daylight players did not expect the company to take so long to fix the character. As of today, the killer is not yet available in the game (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).

Any news about Nurse yet?

Getting kind tired of playing Plague, and I’m good at Pinhead but he gets a little boring after a while. Has BHVR said anything about when she’s getting re-enabled?

I am pissed but not surprised there has to be at least 1 problem with nurse every single time they “fix” a nurse bug hopefully they fix some collision issues too but they probably won’t

Nurse Will NEVER Get ReEnabled.

BHVR is so incompetent I honestly believe that nurse will never be reenabled, I seriously think they bugged something so badly that she’s going to forever be disabled or needed to be rebuilt from the ground up, seriously how can a dev team be so terrible, a character from your game is bugged and you have no clue how to fix it wait a joke and excuse of “developers”

A Dead by Daylight player claims that the Nurse will return to the game in the March 8 update. The information was reportedly revealed by MandyTalk (a Lead Community Coordinator of Behavior Interactive) in a live streaming.

The Nurse will be brought back in March 8th with the release of the new chapter. She was disabled following the 5.5.0 recode and a bug discovered after the release of 5.5.2 (the final hotfix of 5.5.x) which could break the game quite easily, so she was killswitched. Her fix has been confirmed to be ready for live by MandyTalk, despite it not being in the PTB notes.

However, there is still no official public statement from the developers in this regard yet. In the same previous answer it is pointed out that the Nurse’s return is not even included in the PTB notes.

Many Dead by Daylight players are upset by the poor communication from the developers. To this day, they are still not sure if the character will return soon.
