Developed by Wonder People and published by Wonder Games, Super People is one of the latest entrants in the Battle Royale genre. The game is currently available on Steam.

Since its release in August last year, the game has gained massive popularity thanks to its unique gameplay mechanics and fast-paced gameplay.

That being said, those who signed up for the closed beta did expect a couple of hiccups along the way, considering the fact the game is still under development.

But many Super People players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) that they are getting shadowbanned for no reason.

Many say that this is causing them to play in a lobby full of bots while others say it has significantly increased the overall matchmaking queue time.

Below are some reports from Super People players who are allegedly affected by shadowban and are unable to enjoy the game as intended.

As of the patch a few days ago I am shadowbanned or stuck into weird squad lobbies with 25 total soldiers, half of which are always bots. If I try to queue for solo or duos I sit in queue for 25+ minutes and never get put into a game. My friends will queue instantly into 60 soldier games in squads no issue. Once I join the party they also get put into my bot lobbies. I average like 900 adr and 6-7 kills. Had no issue with games before the latest patch/downtime. I have seen similar posts here on the reddit and on the official “forums”? Just wondering if anyone had any luck with submitting a ticket because this is pretty hilarious. If they wanted me to stop playing, they succeeded.

I’m seeing more and more people questioning the games playerbase.. Speaking with others, it seem’s we are shadowbanned? I have 950+ ADR in Duos and squads FPP, and I can only get into 40 person lobbies (regardless of who is hosting) when about 60% or more of the “players” in the lobby are bots. When people I play with play without me, they’re getting into full lobbies (64 players, etc). GG has failed to acknowledge this. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Players are seemingly frustrated since the game takes a while to find matches. Even if they do, many say that the lobbies are mostly empty.

Unfortunately, Super People developers are yet to comment on the matter. We hope the developers resolve the shadowban problem before the stable version of the game is released.
