Dying Light 2 Hoverboard not spawning or working & Double Time quest remains unfinished issues reported by many

Dying Light 2, the latest installment in the post-apocalyptic zombie-infested open-world franchise was released a couple of weeks ago.

But the game has had its fair share of problems with gamers reporting several bugs that sometimes make it completely unplayable.

Dying Light 2 players are reporting (1,2,3) that the Hoverboard is not spawning or working. As a result, many are unable to play or complete the parkour challenge.

Others say that the Hoverboard spawns but they are unable to control it or the challenge fails when pressing the Shift key.

Has the hoverboard glitch been fixed cause I tried it but it didn’t work
I switched on the power then I went straight to the car and even though I didn’t collect the other hoverboards the challenge was still there then I went into it waited a few seconds then quit then loaded back in and I didn’t have it

So basically as the title says. My hoverboard challenge fails instantly whenever during the run I press SHIFT key (Dart/Dash/Afterboost key). I’ve seen youtube videos other people actually using the speed up while on hoverboard, but for me it just ends the run. Anyone else gets the same effect? Or maybe I am doing something wrong? Also I gave territory to PKs and the bridge is full of barricades, virtually making the challenge impossible to finish.

In case the hoverboard is not spawning for you, make sure your accessories slots aren’t full.

PSA: If the hoverboard challenge isn’t spawning the hoverboard, here’s a fix!
Make sure your accessories slots aren’t full and also make sure you hold your parachute button just in case when spawning in!

Apart from the Hoverboard not spawning or working issue, players are saying (1,2,3,4,5) that even though they completed the Double Time quest, it goes back to its last state and as a result remains unfinished.

Dying light 2, Quest double time glitched
Ever since I played this quest, every time I close the game and re-open it. Any quest I have done after Double time is still completed but double time for some reason pops up and wants me to finish the end of the quest despite me doing so several times already… is this a known quest glitch? Have others here had the problem?

“Double Time” Sidequest glitched? (Dying Light 2)
Hey guys. I’ve possibly come across my first legitimate glitch. It’s the side quest double time, in which you race a dude through dark zones. I did it once, no problem, went about my game, quit out and loaded back up. It’s back, did it again thinking it didn’t save. This time took a screenshot to prove I did it. I’ve now just logged in and ITS BACK again. So I don’t know what to do about it. Is anyone else experiencing this?
