OnePlus 9/Pro on OxygenOS 12 (Android 12) screen flickering or horizontal lines on screen issue surfaces

Hello, so since the last update my phone screen has been flickering… Sadly I don’t have a screen shot of it, because it usually flickers and parallel horizontal white bars run across my screen when the phone is just about to go to sleep. Its kind of a random occurrence. I am currently running Oxygen OS 12.

There is still no official acknowledgment of the issue by OnePlus. However, there are a couple of potential workarounds that reportedly resolve the screen flickering pending an official fix.
