New World Corrupted Love & Angels and Demons skins causing server crash, issue acknowledged

New World is an interesting open world MMO game developed by Amazon Game Studios. It is set in a large fantasy world with a lot to do.

The New World developers tend to push out new content on a constant basis to keep their player base interested. New content may include skin packs such as the ‘Corrupted Love’ and ‘Angels and Demons’ packs.

However, sometimes the new content may include some issues. For instance, the aforementioned New World ‘Corrupted Love’ and ‘Angels and Demons’ skin packs were causing a server crash (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13).

Corrupted Love and Angels and Demons are the most recent skin packs to arrive in New World. Players with those skins were facing an unpleasant surprise: a server crash issue when equipping them.

Look….. I love this game alot… but yall really need to get your act together over there lol… when a skin crashes a server you really need to take a step back and reconsider who is working on this game lol.

The fact that some skin packs can cause a problem as severe as a server crash surprises some players (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

Why don’t you go and fix all the crashing issues happening every single day or the fact my game doesn’t load and when it finally does it’s 15 minutes+ waiting on a loading screen. You guys haven’t addressed these issues at all and it’s ridiculous, extremely bad developers.

The New World development team is already aware of the skin server crash issues. The Corrupted Love and the Angels and Demons Pack skins have been temporarily disabled while they investigate the glitch.

At Yesterday 4:45 PM , we disabled the Corrupted Love Pack skins and the new Angels and Demons skins in the store to investigate a bug where the skins were causing a server crash. We are currently investigating the issue and are working on a fix. Players who purchased these skins before they were removed should be able to still use them. Once a fix is implemented, you will be able to purchase the skins again.
