Clash Royale is a multiplayer action and strategy game developed by Supercell (the same developers of the popular game Clash of Clans). Since its release, the game has gained a large and solid base of players.

The gameplay consists of obtaining characters and items through cards in order to form a competitive team that can face other players online worldwide.

Taking into account the competitive aspect of the game, the balance in the abilities and perks of each card is essential. However, according to reports, there are some cards that have exaggerated advantages.

One of the reportedly overpowered Clash Royale cards is Balloon. Apparently, the card deals exaggerated damage according to the players. Also, some believe its health bar is too long (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11).

Apparently, multiple players consider the Clash Royale Balloon card’s abilities to be game-breaking and instead, they want it nerfed.

Serious question: How did balloon NOT get a nerf???

Balloon has a very high usage and win rate. It’s the card that won the most 20 win challenges. Supercell just nerfed all the popular buildings. I played balloon 7 times in a row on ladder just now at 6,900 trophies, and this is before the balance changes. Any way we can get their attention and get some type of emergency nerf to not have to deal with this cancerous meta for 3 very long months?

Most reports refer to the amount of damage the Balloon card can deal. But it is not the only problem, as some also claim the cost to deploy is very low.

Balloon needs some form of nerf.

There are many ways this could be done; removing death damage, increasing cost, or, more dynamically, air defense from CoC could be added. It would probably run 4-5 elixir.

Whatever to shut down these low-skill balloon decks that can take a tower in the first 30 seconds because your defense isn’t in your starting hand.

Some players suggest a nerf to the health bar

While many reports focus on the damage dealt by the card, some players offer another point of view. For example, instead of nerfing the amount of damage, they feel that nerfing its health bar could be appropriate.

Balloon: 1680 Health at tournament standard, rocket has 1484 damage, if rocket were to hit a lumberloon push, the balloon would still have around 200 health left.

If a rocket were to hit a sparky, a 6 elixer card, the sparky would be obliterated instantly.

Everyone says balloon should have a damage nerf, but I genuinely think what it needs to be a balanced card is a health nerf, it takes so much just to kill this thing, and with rage and freeze its almost impossible to stop it, that’s really all I had to say.

Apparently, the amount of health points of the Clash Royale Balloon card is very high. This makes it very difficult to kill it, which helps unbalance matches.
