Shaw TV, the Canadian TV and telecommunications company, has around 900.000 subscribers in that country. So, if a problem occurs, there are many people who suffer from it.

That is exactly what is happening in the last few hours. According to multiple reports, many Shaw TV users are unable to enjoy the company’s TV service due to an annoying error.

More specifically, Shaw TV service users are receiving an ‘XRE-03090’ error message that prevents them from viewing some (or all) channels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).

after turning the blue curve box on and off couple of times with no success was told that they might be a an outage in my area… checked Shaw outage notices and nothing shows on the website to confirm the outage.

Shaw TV team aware, no ETA for fix

Shaw TV’s support team replied to some reports about the problem, confirming that they are already aware of it. The company’s techs are currently working on solving it as quickly as possible.

Hi, we are aware of this issue and has been escalated to our back end team. Techs are working on it to hopefully have everything restored asap. We don’t have an ETA as yet but hopefully things will be back up and running soon. We are truly sorry for the inconveniences. – Grace.

However, at the moment, there is no estimated date of arrival for the fix to the service. So, the thousands of affected users do not know when they will be able to continue enjoying their favorite shows.

Shaw TV users can only wait for new updates related to the problem. It must be quite frustrating not being able to enjoy a service for which they are paying.
