In the last hours, Xbox users have been facing some serious issues related to the Xbox Store, which are limiting the purchase of games and redeeming gift cards.

According to multiple reports, the Xbox Store gift card redeem page is not loading or the code is not working for many players. In addition to the above, you cannot buy games or make ingame purchases.

Xbox Store gift card redeem page issue: not loading or codes not working

It seems that the servers that host the Xbox Store are having problems, which results in players not being able to claim their gift cards (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

Redeem code not working. No error; Service down?

Hi, Am trying to redeem a 12 month gold code without success. Have tried on the xboz itself under through the store but it just spins the waiting disk for about 3 minutes before saying an error has occurred and to try again later.

Tried doing it on the PC by visiting but all I get here is a white screen then after a minute it shows my profile but no place to enter the code.

According to reports, for some, the page where they claim the codes never stopped loading. Meanwhile, for others, even if the page loads, the code is taken as invalid.

FWIW I’m in the same boat and I’ve tried it via their website the app on PC and the XBOX as well. I cant even get it to load to the page where you submit the key. so it has to be yet another one of Microsoft’s glorious stupidity.

it never ceases to amaze me how awful their sites/apps are. I cant remember the last time I didn’t have an issue with them.

List of purchased games not working, can’t buy games or make in-game purchases

Another problem derived is that players cannot buy games on the Xbox Store or make ingame purchases. Also, they can’t even access the list of purchased games for download (1, 2, 3).

Got my brand new Series S a few hours ago. Set up my existing account and finished all the updates (Xbox system, store, etc.). In my games and apps I do not see any games to download nor do they appear in my library. I tried the Store and there is no install options for any games I own or that are for free or to purchase. Does anyone know of a solution?

Xbox team is aware of the issues

The Xbox team is already aware of the reported issues, as this is reflected in the current status page of the company’s services.

So, for the moment, it only remains to wait for them to work on solving the failure of their servers, and for Xbox Store users to be able to use their services normally again.

Finally, we will update this article as more related updates emerges to keep you informed. So stay tuned.
