Rocket League Sideswipe XP glitch (not getting extra or bonus XP) acknowledged

Rocket League is a successful multiplayer game that is based on ‘soccer with cars’. It’s been available on both PC and consoles for a long time, and its player base is pretty solid.

For a few weeks, the saga is also present on smartphones with the title of ‘Rocket League Sideswipe’. It has a simplified version of the gameplay of the ‘older brother’.

To drive adoption of both versions, the developers are offering extra or bonus XP for those who play both ‘standard’ Rocket League and the new Rocket League Sideswipe.

But, it seems that the rewards mentioned above are not working properly. According to multiple reports, Rocket League Sideswipe players are not getting the extra XP for playing standard Rocket League.

Rocket League Sideswipe players report that the extra XP issue consists in that they are only receiving the corresponding bonus once for winning in Rocket League (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).

I get the sideswipe bonus on rocket league but not the rocket league bonus on sideswipe?

When I win a game on sideswipe and then rocket league, I get the extra 4000 xp points however when I win a game on rocket league and then sideswipe I do not get the bonus anymore. Is there like a weekly limit or is there an issue with my game? Any help is appreciated

When trying to get the XP bonus again, players reportedly did not receive it. But, days ago, they could get the bonus more than just one time, according to some players.

RL Bonus EP does not stack anymore?!

Climbed up around 6-7 levels in Rocket League yesterday, but only got one Rocket League Bonus in Sideswipe. The next win granted no Bonus anymore.

I remember some days before, that the bonuses stacked.

So, there seems to be a bug present in Rocket League Sideswipe that is preventing players from receiving all the extra XP they should for winning their matches.

The game developers confirm that the issue is indeed caused by a bug. Players should be able to get the extra XP multiple times and not just once.
