[Updated] GTA Online infinite loading black screen while entering Agency issue troubles players

GTA (Grand Auto Theft) franchise from Rockstar is the most popular in action-adventure games. Everyone in the gaming world is very well familiar with GTA series of video games.

The latest installment in this long-running lineup is GTA V released back in 2013, while GTA Online was launched as its online component that allows gamers to play in online mode with around 30 players at once.

GTA Online is available on different gaming platforms. The game has gained millions of gamers over the past few years due to the popularity of the entire series. However, many have also reported bugs with it occasionally.

Having said that, some GTA Online players are now reporting (1, 2, 3) infinite loading black screen issues when trying to enter the Agency buildings.

Here are some reports for reference:

Really annoying….everytime I have to complete a mission which requires me to bring something back to agency….just infinite loading screen…I hear other players mics…I see people dieing/leaving in the corner…but screens black with orange loading circle….I’ve had to reboot at least 12 times today…pissing me off honestly (Source)

As with the title says rockstar says nothing to the community for months upon months, and they do bug fixes every few months too. so are they going to fix the loading screen problems and the agency very soon, or is it on rockstar‘s end or with the amount of players in the servers (Source)

Gamers say that whenever they try to enter into any Agency building the game suddenly goes into infinite loading black screen and they have to start over after waiting some time.

Some players say that this issue is happening occasionally, while others say it’s bothering them more frequently.

Unfortunately, Rockstar Games is yet to acknowledge this bug. Also, there is no workaround available for this issue as of now. All in all, players have to wait until the devs issue fix for this glitch.

We hope it gets sorted out soon since players are not able to complete their tasks. Also, it becomes frustrating when you have to start all over again just because of one small glitch.

03:25 pm (IST): An individual has shared a potential fix for the loading issues on PC. These are the steps to follow in order to resolve the problem:

1. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc)

2. Click on the “Performance” tab

3. Click on “Open Resource Monitor” At the bottom

4. Find “GTA5.exe” and right-click it

5. Suspend Process for 5-10 Seconds

6. Resume Process (Should be on the top of the process’ list

7. Continue your session
