Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is undoubtedly one of the best games in the long-running franchise. Released last year, the title has received several updates bringing in new content and events.
That being said, the updates are not limited to weapons and missions with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla TU 1.4.1 update bringing in 7 new skills.
But, many are now reporting that they are unable to max out their skill tree after the update. Valhalla players say that one skill point is missing and they are stuck at power level 475 instead of being able to upgrade to power level 476.
Looks like the game is awarding mastery points instead of the last skill point. Players said they tried resetting all their points and used the auto-assign function but are still missing one skill.
This is really frustrating for those who have already upgraded their skill tree to the max and were looking forward to using the newly added skills. Seems like the issue started after the December 19 patch.
Hi, I have everything on the skill tree unlocked apart from one skill. I should be able to gain 1 more skill point when I level up so I can get that last skill, but when I do level up I am only able to get mastery points. I’ve tried to refund a few skills and buy other skills, then level up, but I always end up in the same situation where I have 1 skill left locked and I never gain a skill point to unlock the skill tree 100%, it always goes to mastery points. I’ve verified my files, the problem persists.

@UbisoftSupport Hey Ubisoft, if you’re going to give us new skills, make sure you balance it out so that we get enough skill points to get all the skills before we earn the mastery points. I’ve got one skill, I can never get now because I’m gaining mastery points.

Thankfully, Ubisoft Support has commented on the Valhalla missing skill point issue and said that they are aware of the bug where players are stuck at power level 475. However, they did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed.
Thank you for clarifying that for us. This is an issue we are aware of, and is being looked into at the moment.

Unfortunately, we were unable to find any workaround that might help so users will have to wait a while until Ubisoft fixes it in a future update. When they do, we will let you know so stay tuned.
