Destiny 2 Twitch extension bugs where Dreissigste emblem does not appear & Watcher's Shade shader is missing acknowledged

Developed by Bungie, Destiny 2 is one of the most popular free-to-play titles on Steam. The game is currently in its fourth year and still going strong with a loyal player base.

That being said, the developers also work on bringing in new content to the game in the form of missions, emblems, and weapons. That being said, players are no stranger to the bug and issues these frequent updates bring.

Unsurprisingly, Destiny 2 players are now reporting that the Dreissigste emblem is not showing up in the collections tab.

However, the emblem is indeed showing up in the ‘recently discovered’ section. Many seem disappointed since they wanted to keep the emblem on their favorite characters.

I completed the Twitch bounty that Bungie set up, and collected the emblem on my Titan (it looks nice by the way). I wanted to put it on my Warlock and Hunter as well, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere in the Flair section under the Collections tab. Which is weird because the emblem also registered under the “recently discovered” section of the Collections tab. Is it a one-off emblem that I can only keep on one character? Or is it a glitch and I really should be seeing it in my Collections?

So I did the twitch bounty for the emblem. Got it from holiday on my hunter. Went to put it on my titan and warlock but it’s nowhere to be found. It’s not in collections and I can’t go back to get it from holiday. Is there a way to get it or do I just have to wait for it to pop up? Holiday has a ping as if she wants to give it to me but when I open menu it’s just her regular vendor screen.

Apart from the disappearance of the new Dreissigste emblem, it looks like players aren’t getting the Twitch gift shader as well. Destiny 2 players say that although they gifted 2 subs and talked to Amanda Holliday, the Watcher’s Shade sub is not showing up.

I just gifted 2 subs (one at a time) and then talked to Amanda Holliday. She gave me the emblem but not the shader for some reason. The weird thing is that her icon on the map is flashing as if she wants to give me the shader, but doesn’t know how to. When I talk to her again all it shows is her usual lineup of green and blue ships and sparrows. I tried the usual troubleshooting technique of changing characters/relogging but to no effect 🙁

Is anyone else getting this problem?I did the twitch bounty before the reset, and got the emblem, and all the other stuff, but I didn’t receive the shader that goes with it. Do I have to create a help on Bungie to get it? Is anyone else getting this issue?

Thankfully, Bungie has acknowledged both the issues and said that they are aware of the Destiny 2 emblem and shader issues. However, there is no ETA on when they will be fixed.
