New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on November 16, 2021) follows:

Stable Android 12 has been available since October for Google Pixel phones. However, it seems that there are some important apps that still require adaptation to the system.

An example of the above is the Amazon Appstore. Many Android 12 users are reporting that, with the new version of the OS, the Amazon store does not show all apps.

Android 12 update broke Amazon Appstore

According to reports, Amazon Appstore stopped working properly on stable Android 12. Affected users point out that, after updating their devices, they can no longer find all their apps (1, 2, 3).

I’ve run into an issue with the Amazon app store not actually showing my purchased apps via their app store.

I only encountered this problem as of yesterday when I performed a hard reset on my Pixel 5A after switching from the Android 12 beta to the proper release.

After performing the hard reset and setting everything up again when I go into the App Store I only see 8 out of the 125 apps that are mine regardless of refreshes,

In some reported cases, the Amazon Appstore does not show any app that the user has downloaded or purchased. Also, no other app could be accessed from the store.

I have a Pixel 6 Pro and I’m having the exact same issues. I’ve downloaded the Amazon Appstore app from both the Canadian and American site. Did all the troubleshooting steps @OP did, to no avail. Right now the app store app opens but it’s like it isn’t connected to the server. Placeholders are present but when you click on one, or anything, it simply says No apps found.

Some apps stop working because they cannot be updated

This bug also causes the apps to be unable to update. While some apps may continue to function properly, other apps that constantly need to receive data require updating to continue working.

As an example of the above are the Candiab and TuneIn apps. While the former may continue to function without updating, the latter requires an update:
