Paladins: The Game Remix Pepper skin not showing in inventory issue acknowledged

Paladins is one of the most popular free-to-play multiplayer shooting video games similar to Overwatch. Developed by Evil Mojo Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios, the game was released in 2018.

The game pits a team of 5 against each other with the objective of capturing the central point. There are multiple characters that bring some unique abilities to the game. Paladins even has an active esports scene including World Championships and several DreamHack competitions.

Like with every other free-to-play title, Paladins generates revenue by micro-transactions and in-app purchases. Unsurprisingly, the game has skins for champions that help them stand out.

As one would expect with online games, some bugs and glitches do surface every once in a while. That being said, Paladins players are now reporting a bug that is preventing them from equipping the Remix Pepper skin.

The skin is not visible in the inventory. Many say they tried verifying the game files and restarting the game but to no avail.

Right, so I open these to get Raeve, which I finally got after agonizing 4 months of wait for Deal of the day opportunity, I also open Pip Remix/Pepper. I equipped the skin and the weapon as well, tried to give my arctic Pip her gun and find out it was locked. Suspicious, I went to equip Pepper, only to discover the skin is now locked and cannot equip, even tho I clearly got it in a box. Anyone got into a similar situation?

Hey everyone! I opened a crate today and while I did pull Pepper instead of the skin i wanted, I didn’t actually get the skin or the weapon. In the crate it shows that i own it but in the chapion screen it doesn’t. Is this something where waiting is the best thing to do as servers catch up or should i better write a support ticket just to be sure?

Thankfully, it looks like Paladins developers are aware of a bug where the Remix Pepper Skin cannot be found in inventory. Moreover, it looks like they have already found a fix that is currently being tested. However, there is no ETA on when the skin will be coming back.

We hope the developers deploy the fix as soon as possible. As always, we will be keeping track of further developments on the bug and update this space when Hi-Rez Studios brings back the Remix Pepper skin.
