While Far Cry 6 is the first game in the series set in an urban environment, the game has been infested with bugs and glitches that have ruined the gameplay for almost everyone who was eager to get their hands on the game.
Looking at the number of technical glitches and difficulties affecting the title, it looks like Far Cry 6 has taken heavy inspiration from the likes of Cyberpunk 2077. If the trend continues, it won’t be long before Far Cry 6 joins the Fallout 76 and Cyberpunk 2077 league.
Having said that, Far Cry 6 players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5) another issue where Mastery 3 trophies and achievements are not working. Some say that they are unable to see the new trophies that were added to mastery level 3 completion on Lola’s map.
Others report that they are not getting their Mastery 3 trophies and achievements. This is causing confusion and chaos since only a handful of people are getting them.
Apparently, players who already completed Lola’s map on Mastery 3 won’t be getting the new trophies and achievements. The game needs the character to complete it for the first time on Mastery 3.
I cannot get the trophy “Extinction Level Event” to pop despite having changed the difficulty to mastery 3. I have done it in my game with a friend and also by inviting a random player. I have also done it in a friend’s game and also in a random player’s game. It has popped for the players I’m with on multiple occasions but never for me, so I know for sure it awards in co-op.

Yeah, I had this happen to me for the crocodile map… apparently if you’ve beat the map on M3 prior to the update you can’t unlock the trophy… heard other folks here suggest doing it with a new character or joining a coop session with someone who’s never done it before. This is lame – I have 1 save with 80h+ and all the unlocks – I’m not gonna start another game and beat the story and unlock the weapons (and collect that damn gunpowder) just for the trophy…

Thankfully, Ubisoft seems to be aware of the Far Cry 6 Mastery 3 trophies and achievements issue and said that it is currently under investigation. However, there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.
Understood. We are aware of this and are investigating. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. If we have any updates, they will be posted on our forums.
