According to reports, it is being almost impossible to run Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier using the Bluestacks emulator. For some, the game does not start, while others just get a black screen.

Help getting final fantasy 7 the first soldier running?
I’ve tried soany settings and variations of settings and I can’t get it running all I get is a black screen on start up. I tried the settings from the beta nothing I’ve tried several devices and graphic and resolution settings. Nothing.Any help is appreciated it releases on Wednesday but it preload today and I would like to have it preloaded

There is a workaround that may help
The Bluestacks team published an ‘official’ workaround to mitigate the problem. Apparently, the game must be installed from the Play Store using Bluestacks 5 Nougat 64-bit.

The Bluestacks team officially confirmed that they are aware of the issue, and they are currently working on it. But, there is still no estimated date for the arrival of a fix.
