When it comes to sports games, EA is the leader in the video game industry. The company recently launched the 31st installment in the long-running NHL series on October 15. Surprisingly, this is the first time NHL made use of the signature Frostbite engine.

Developed by EA Vancouver and published by EA Sports, the new engine allowed developers to give the title a massive graphical overhaul. Finally, EA introduced the ability to share rosters and download community-made rosters.

Some new features include Superstar X-Factors, which give superstars unique abilities and help them stand out from other players. Moreover, new animations and gameplay such as pass and blocks, pickups, puck protection are also added to the game.

That being said, like all other EA titles, the latest NHL is not immune to bugs and issues. NHL players recently complained that they were having issues with HUT or WOC during the weekend.

To apologize for the same, EA recently gave players compensation rewards that they could collect in-game. But many are now reporting that their compensation rewards are missing, which is quite ironic.

NHL players say they have tried verifying game files and restarting the game but they still don’t show up. You can see the compensation rewards in the image below.

Thankfully, EA has acknowledged the missing NHL HUT and WOC compensation rewards issue and said that it is currently under investigation. However, they did not share any ETA on a fix.
