New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on November 10, 2021) follows:

Founded in 2005 and owned by Google, YouTube is the second most-visited website on the internet. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company generated revenue amounting to $19.8 billion last year.

With millions of people uploading content on the platform every day, some have made YouTube their main source of income and earn by streaming and uploading videos of all sorts.

Nonetheless, the developers at YouTube always work on introducing new features and improving existing ones. But, these sometimes result in the platform not working as intended.

That being said, YouTube users are now complaining (1,2,3,4,5,6,7)that they are stuck in a search results video loop.

While the bug may not be critical to some, others say they are having trouble exploring new videos and channels since they only see the same bunch of videos on scrolling down.

video list not showing any videos older than 30 days across multiple providers on multiple computers. I have YT Premium, and watch YT daily. Just now today, I am experiencing the following problem. On ALL of the content providers that I go to view their video lists, the list shows only the first 30 days of videos from now. Then the list repeats. Then it repeats again and again. I cannot “see” any videos older than 30 days, from ANY content provider across YT. Please fellow viewers and YT staff, look into this. Thank you.

@YouTube Not sure if you can help a tiny creator like myself but a friend of mine encountered an issue. He told me that he keeps seeing a loop in my channel and can’t see old videos. I went on a personal account to see what it was and he was right. Even on mobile.

With YouTube yet to acknowledge the issue, it is highly unlikely it will be resolved in the coming days. In the meantime, a user has come up with a workaround that might help fix the YouTube video loop glitch.

Hi there for anyone out of the loop there has been a very annoying glitch going around where you can only see uploads up to certain point before it loops, to my knowledge there’s only one way to get around it and it’s to sort by oldest and go through the uploads that way hope this helps.

Update 1 (November 11)

YouTube has finally acknowledged the issue that resulted in users seeing the same videos over and over in the video section of a channel. They also said it is currently under investigation.

Thanks for letting us know – we’ve seen similar reports where uploads under the Videos tab of a channel repeat when scrolling down to see older content, and our team is now looking into it. Appreciate your patience in the meantime.
