HBO Max Insecure season 5 episode 3 won't play or glitching out, issue gets acknowledged

HBO Max is one of the largest players in the video streaming space that combines all of HBO in a single application. Started just 4 years ago, it has more than 69.4 million users.

Owned by WarnerMedia, it will soon merge with Discovery Inc. and will be renamed Warner Bros. Discovery. And unlike other streaming services that work mostly fine, it has a reputation for being affected by numerous bugs and issues.

That being said, HBO Max users are reporting that they are unable to stream Insecure Season 5 Episode 3 because the video does not play or glitches out. However, other episodes can be viewed just fine.

And this is not the first time such an issue has surfaced. In the recent past, HBO Max users had complained about Army of Darkness not playing and sync issues with Rush Hour 2.

People are really angry with HBO Max since they are unable to watch their favorite TV show’s latest episode. Some say they are getting a ‘can’t play title or ‘whoops something went wrong’ error whenever they try to stream the episode.

@HBOMaxHelp when I click the latest episode of Insecure it closes out the app on my iPhone. When I click older episodes or other shows, it works fine. Help?

Fortunately, HBO Max said they are aware of the issue where Insecure Season 5 Episode 3 won’t play. Moreover, the developers said they were trying to resolve the issue as soon as possible but did not share any ETA on when a fix will be coming.

Seems like the team is still trying to figure out what causes the video to glitch out since they are asking for OS and HBO Max app versions. We hope the HBO Max team soon releases a fix for Insecure Season 5 Episode 3 and makes it watchable again.
