Cryptocurrency has trended as a global phenomenon in recent times and has evolved as the best-performing asset. And coming to light is a crash-related issue with one of the popular cryptocurrency exchanges platforms – Gate.io.

Bracing blockchain assets like BTC, LTC, Ethereum, and Qtum, etc., Gate.io is a one-stop store for crypto trading. However, the platform has been giving iOS users a tough time after a recent update, as complaints have been surfacing for about a week now.

If the reports on microblogging site Twitter are to go by, folks are not able to log in, as the app keeps crashing. For a quick glance, here’s how some of the affected word Gate.io app crash:

What’s appeasing is that the company has at least officially spoken on the matter, acknowledging the glitch, telling the affected the matter is being looked into. Take a look at what they have to say:

Hi there! We are already working on the iOS mobile app issue. We will update you guys once already available. Please access your account via desktop browser or android device in the meantime.

While the company is aware of the issue it’s worth mentioning, no ETA has been provided for the fix as yet. Those affected may have to wait for long as the reports have been coming for about a week now (but there is no fix in sight).

Rest assured, we’ll be keeping an active track of the developments and will keep you posted.

Update 1 (November 08)

03:25 pm (IST): A couple of users have confirmed that the issue was fixed after the latest update that has hit the App Store.

They pushed another update, just go to apple store and update the app again (Source)

Thanks … I had to reinstall the app for few times before it’s starts working again (Source)

One individual, however, claimed that they had to reinstall the application in order to get it to work again.
