Roblox: Can't login or stuck (security doesn't pop up) despite service restoration? You're not alone; Extensions also broken for some

Developed by the Roblox Corporation, Roblox is an online platform that allows users to create or play games created by others. It has a user base of more than 43 million daily active players and 9.5 million developers.

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic locked out people in their homes, Roblox has gained massive popularity with 28% of active players coming from North America alone. Moreover, around 67% of the total users are under the age of 16, making it one of the largest platforms for kids.

Some even speculated that Roblox was going to go offline in March of 2020, something that the company later clarified was unfounded for.

Having said that, the service recently reported an outage that lasted from Thursday evening to late Sunday, lasting a whopping three days. Roblox Corporation recently said that the platform is back online in all regions.

But it looks like even after the service was restored, many are now facing several issues with the platform.

Some Roblox players are complaining that they are unable to login into the platform. Users say they are getting a wrong password notification making it impossible for them to login and play games.

Hello. Please consider this problem. When I tried to enter the account, it gave out “Wrong password or username”, I hurried to push on the button “Forgot password or username”, I clicked there and entered my mail.

It seems that the issue is rampant and is preventing many from logging in. With Roblox Corporation yet to acknowledge the issue, it is hard to determine the root cause of the issue. But that’s not all.

Some Roblox players are reporting that they are stuck on the login screen. This is really frustrating since the platform was recently down for days.

Apart from the aforementioned login issues players are facing, Roblox users say that the security page for 2-step verification is bugged right now. Players say they are not getting verification code while others say the page is stuck on a white screen and not loading at all.
