Google My Business is one of the most useful tools available out there. However, many users are complaining about an issue that affects the status of their business listings.

Some businesses are getting suspended from Google My Business

Through Google My Business you can configure all the information of your own business. In this way, you can control the presence of your business in Google services such as Maps and Search.

The tool allows you to add all the information that people would need to know about your business. The presence in widely used Google services undoubtedly increases visibility a lot, so for many it is an essential platform.

Having said the above, many users report (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14) that their businesses are being suspended from Google My Bussines for no apparent reason. Also, requests for the disabled business to be reinstated are being rejected.

Hello – my business and GMB listing was disabled. I am not sure why. I tried to reinstate, but Google responded and said my business cannot be reinstated. I have one location with a storefront, our trucks and an office, and run an honest business. You can even see my business from customers in pictures in the reviews. I don’t know what to do and feel helpless. I don’t know what to do as Google does not give a reason why. I follow all policies and guidelines. What can I do to reinstate my business and prove this is a legitimate business location that should be displayed on maps? Thank you in advance.

My GMB has been suspended.
My business doesn’t have an official office as I work in homes so I have a residential address on GMB.
Most of my work is via Google and I have hundreds of reviews that I can’t afford to lose.
I am a sole trader as opposed to a LTD company.
I have asked for reinstatement not heard anything, not sure if anyone can advise.

Google has confirmed that businesses getting suspended from My Business is a bug. The company is already aware of it and working to resolve it.
