[Update: Oct. 23] Warzone: Ghost of Verdansk players demand nerf for Kali Sticks, Melee & Stun; Ghost perk bug gets acknowledged (potential workaround)

Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular battle royales in recent times. The game is developed by Infinity Ward in partnership with Raven Software and published by Activision.

The title is free-to-play and part of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It is notorious for having many bugs and issues that make the game unplayable at times.

In fact, COD: Warzone has so many bugs that we have a dedicated COD: Warzone bug tracker.

Having said that, it a bunch of new issues have surfaced. COD Warzone: Ghost of Verdansk players are asking that the Kali Sticks, Melee, and Stun on the Rebirth island be nerfed.

Many are wondering how the Kali Stick, a melee weapon is able to beat a gun. In the video below, you can see how powerful the Kali sticks are:

@RavenSoftware Remove jump scares during fighting. Make a night mode of BR perma playlist. Stop removing Plunder. Nerf Kali sticks and stun grenades.

Since Raven Software is yet to say anything on the matter, it remains to be seen if the Kali Sticks, Melee and Stun will be nerfed at all.

And as if that wasn’t enough, the Season 6 update is now making users visible on the radar even if they have the Ghost Perk enabled. The Ghost Perk allows players to go invisible, but the bug seems to be making it completely useless.

Fortunately, the developers at Raven Software seem to be aware of the bug with the Ghost Perk and said that they are working on fixing the same.

An issue has been identified with the Ghost Perk not functioning correctly in Private Matches. We have a fix in the works!

However, they did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed. If and when they do nerf the Kali Sticks, Melee, and Stun and the bug with Ghost Perk, we will update this space so make sure you stay tuned for updates.

The bug affects both public as well as private matches. A user has suggested that the Dead Silence be removed from the game so the Ghost Perk can work as intended.

04:50 pm (IST): The support team said that a fix is scheduled for the Ghost perk glitch which is currently under investigation. However, no ETA has been provided as to when it will be actually resolved.
