Far Cry 6, the long-awaited FPS released this month, is having some problems. More specifically, Insurgency mode is giving Far Cry 6 players headaches due to various bugs.

What is Insurgency mode in Far Cry 6?

In Insurgency, we will have to take care of Castillo’s army who seek to retake territories in Yara. The ultimate goal is to find the leader of the occupation and finish him.

The game will give us 4 objectives in order to get the leader’s location. During an insurgency, we will be destroying anti-aircraft guns and capturing various bases and points around the map, with different conditions.

Insurgency mode rewards include XP points, money and a new exclusive Insurgency weapon.

Another advantage of the game mode is that we can get a Spec Ops Key. This will give us access to a Guerilla Dead Drop, which is basically a “chest” that can contain cosmetic items (like dashboard props) and money.

It should be noted that we can only access this game mode after finishing Far Cry 6. In addition, the Insurgencies are weekly updated. Finally, after 3 Insurgencies completed, you will be you will receive the trophy “Oh No You Don’t!”.

Having said all the above, the game mode is not working properly. This is something that many users are complaining about through forums like Reddit.

The main complaints from users (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) have to do with the fact that the objectives set by the Insurgency do not appear on the map. Basically, FND bases, AA Cannon & checkpoint are not available.

Of course, this means that the mission cannot be completed and, therefore, we will not be able to get the rewards. Many players complain that this does not allow them to complete the last trophies they have pending in the game.

Users have reported that they have tried everything to try to fix the Insurgency bugs in Far Cry 6. One of them points out that he tried to reinstall the game, rebuild the database and do another mission, but nothing worked.

Ubisoft is not aware of the bugs yet

Something especially worrisome is that, apparently, Ubisoft is not aware of these bugs. One of the affected users contacted Ubisoft support to resolve the situation, but even they did not know what was happening.
