New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on June 02, 2021) follows:

League of Legends: Wild Rift is easily one of the top picks if you’re into online multiplayer and free-to-play games for Android and iOS.

The game, however, hasn’t been treating the players well. There have been multiple bugs and glitches encounters that make it tough to play the game.

Riot Games recently released a new update, Patch 2.3, featuring Riven, Irelia, the Broken Blades event, and a bunch of more additions.

But it appears new features weren’t the only thing to arrive as some bugs have slowly started to come to notice.

We recently saw a punishment notice popped up for literally no reason and now login and account accessibility issue seems to be the next bug to the list for Wild Rift users.

Take a look at what Wild Rift players are complaining about on social media channels.

The update which should have made things easier has instead become a pain to play. As reported by the users, the spurf is working fine but the main isn’t.

Since this has to do with the latest Patch 2.3, the issue should be affecting both Android and iOS users.

The company did take a notice of it and has released a statement assuring users that teams are working on this but there’s no ETA at this moment.

Hey there, sorry to hear about this situation. We’re aware of some issues and our teams are working on it as we speak. We don’t have an ETA atm, but rest assured that we’re doing our best to solve this asap. Ty for ur understanding! – Source (1, 2)

Temporary workaround

The issue is completely random. Some can access it using their Google accounts while some using Facebook. So this, at least, can be given a shot.

While this may take some time to get fixed as Riot Games have their hands dipped in more than one issue, this workaround is the only way to move ahead in the game and should help for the time being.

Talking of other issues, Riot Games is also looking into an issue where the lobby and friends list is broken for some users. Here’s what the status is at this moment.

Riot Games really need to cross-check things before releasing them to the public. But now that they have released the patch, all we can hope is they fix it at the earliest.

That said, we will continue to keep an eye on this one and update you as soon as there’s something significant.

Update 1 (October 15)

Looking the reports on micro-blogging site Twitters, it appears the log in issue is troubling players once again. Following is the error that pops up:
