[Update: Fixed] Back 4 Blood Fort Hope pre-order skin missing for some, fix in works (workaround inside)

Back 4 Blood is the upcoming FPS multiplayer survival horror game developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by Warner Bros.

This video game is set for official launch on October 12 and will be available on different gaming platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, and Microsoft Windows.

Back 4 Blood is currently available for testing through Open Beta for those who have pre-ordered it. And ever since the release of the Open Beta build, gamers have been reporting various issues.

The latest bug to pop up is where pre-order skins are missing for some console players.

As per reports, some gamers have complained that their Fort Hope weapon skins are still appearing as locked yet they are supposed to be available with the ultimate edition.

Even after finishing up the entire first act, weapon skins are still locked, while everything else is available including battle hardened skins, banner, emblem, spray, and title.

I preordered a physical copy of the Ultimate Edition and the Fort Hope weapon skins are appearing as locked. However, my Ultimate edition cosmetics are appearing as they should.

For some reason, players can’t get weapon skins unlocked which can get pretty annoying sometimes. But considering the game is still in beta, these kinds of issues aren’t unexpected.

On the brighter side, this issue seems to affect a limited number of gamers as we haven’t come across more such reports of missing Fort Hope skins.

Meanwhile, it is good to see that Back 4 Blood support team has acknowledged the issue.

Moreover, Back 4 Blood Fort Hope skin missing issue is currently under investigation and a fix should come as soon as possible. However, no ETA has been provided as to when this will be actually solved.

Furthermore, WB Games Support also provided a workaround for a player who complained about the game not pre-loading. Players are asked to restart the console and try to download it again, in case it works.

If the weapon skins are still missing even after trying the above-mentioned workaround, then you’ll have to wait for devs to take care of it.

We hope that the missing Back 4 Blood Hope Fort skin bug or any other issues get fixed soon before the video game officially releases.
