Original story (published on October 06, 2021) follows:

There are plenty of role-playing video games available such as The Witcher and The Elder Scrolls series. If you like playing these kinds of games, then you might be aware of the video game called ‘Guild Wars 2’.

It is a multiplayer role-playing video game developed and published by ArenaNet in August 2012. Guild Wars is available on different platforms including Windows and Mac.

However, some gamers are facing animation loading and collision issues in Guild Wars 2 Mad King’s Clock Tower. Users are unable to make their last jump of the puzzle due to collision issues.

As per the reports, animations are not loading properly, the game stops mid animations or sometimes they load too early.

Every time when players try to jump off the tower, they hit the wall instead of going through chest room. As a result, gamers aren’t able to finish their game due to these animation loading issues.

Glad that they know about the issue. Guess we’ll just have to wait until they fix it to do Clock Tower. 4 times I’ve “made the jump” 1st time I just thought I somehow mistimed it after doing this for YEARS. 2nd and 3rd time was starting to get suspicious and last time I just called it. (Source)

Ran this now 20 times in a row, hit a wall everytime jumping threw the window. Need proof Anet? I can record and show you it. Pissing me off (Source)

At first, gamers thought that they probably mistimed the jump, but every other time they try to jump they keep hitting the wall instead of passing through the window.

After getting frustrated with the same situation over and over, those affected took to the Guild Wars 2 community forum. Fortunately, the ArenaNet staff has acknowledged the issue and said that they are currently working on a fix.

However, no ETA has been provided as to when this annoying animation bug will be actually fixed. And also, currently, there are no temporary workarounds that users can try.

All in all, you will need to wait for developers to sort out this animation loading and collision issues and we hope that a fix rolls out as soon as possible.

We will update you on the further development of this story as and when anything new comes to our notice, so stay tuned.

Update (October 07)

IST 1:21 pm: Now, it is coming to light that the Mad King’s Clock Tower animation and collision issue, have been resolved.

For users still facing the issue, here is something to try.

I have worked out the timing and I can also confirm that the other event based platforms are all a little weird. They basically spawn in halfway to a point where you still can’t jump on it and then snap into the intended position, meaning you can’t pre-jump by just a bit, which makes lag a little harder because the floor raises very quickly when you are already behind waiting for platforms for lag.

The first one is the biggest problem and the final clock shatter are a little rough to judge, the other platforms generally spawn just a little before you get there to jump.
