Original story (published on September 28, 2021) follows:

CSR Racing 2 has been available on iOS and Android since 2016. The popular drag racing game is played by millions across the globe and it recently received a new update.

The CSR Racing 2 version 3.4.0 update arrived on iOS and Android not too long ago but it seems the latest update is doing more harm than good.

As per multiple reports, CSR 2 players have been facing some problems after the 3.4 update which is preventing them progressing in and even playing the game.

Reports outline that the intro pop up of the final chapter of Elite Tuner becomes unresponsive after the 3.4 update further preventing CSR 2 players from playing the game itself.

Also, players are unable to take part in Showdown Races because of error messages and slow loading whereas a white screen appears when players try to access their garage.

These issues have been inconveniencing many CSR 2 players after the 3.4 update but the issue where the Elite Tuner intro pop up becomes unresponsive is literally making the game unplayable.

However, affected players may not have to face these problems for too long as CSR Racing 2 support has acknowledged them all. The relevant team is working to fix the issues in the 3.4 update on priority.

Thus it is possible that the next CSR Racing 2 update might bring along fixes for the aforementioned problems. However, this is still based on speculation as support has not shared any details on how long it will take to address the issues.

Hi racers, we’ve been receiving reports that players are experiencing several issues after updating to 3.4. Our team is working around the clock to fix the issues, thanks for your patience. Please see here for live updates https://bit.ly/3o7K7KF

In the meantime, those who have unlocked Toyota Supra MK4 in the game can try completing the first chapter of the ongoing event in order to fix the unresponsive Elite Tuner pop up in CSR 2 version 3.4.

However, those who do not have access to the aforementioned vehicle can force quit the game then relaunch it and repeatedly tap on the section where the Garage and Legends icons appear while the game is loading.

While these workarounds may or may not work for everyone, there is still no harm in giving them a shot. Hopefully, Zynga or NaturalMotion soon fix the issues with CSR 2 so that players can enjoy the game without any hassle.

Update 1 (October 2)

04:03 pm (IST): The team has confirmed that fixes for most of the issues that popped up after the recent update have been deployed. It may, however, take a while for the fixes to be reflected for all players.

But that’s not all. As a gesture of goodwill, those who were affected by these issues between 23/9 and 30/9 will also be compensated with the following:

– $250,000 Cash
– 400 Euro Series Tokens
– 1000 Green Elite Customs Parts
– 500 Elite Tuners Tokens
– 30 Fuel Pips
– Art of Elegance event – We have extended this by an additional 24 hours, to allow players some extra time to complete

Furthermore, in another status update, the team confirmed that they won’t be extending the Art of Elegence Showdown event due to the following reason:

In order to fix a lost trophy issue, return the trophies, and prevent all players from additional trophy loss, we have reverted the change to this event timescale. Apologies for this last minute change.
