Fortnite aware of Derby Dynamo Challenges not appearing in players' Quests & Punchcards tab
Developed and released by Epic Games back in 2017, Fortnite is now one of the most played online games across the globe. It is available on platforms like PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Android, iOS, and Windows.
Numerous quest packs are offered to players in Fortnite which include special items, skins, and V-Buck challenges. One such pack known as Derby Dynamo was recently released for Fortnite players.
However, players are unable to find Derby Dynamo Quest Pack in the store anymore. While this is definitely sad news for those who are unable to purchase the pack, those who already purchased it are also facing a problem.
As per multiple reports, the V-Bucks challenges from Derby Dynamo Quest Pack are not showing up in the Quests & Punchcards tab for those who purchased it in Fortnite.
This is troubling players as they paid for the pack and are unable redeem the same properly. Many Fortnite players are affected across numerous platforms and generic troubleshooting like restarting the game is also not helping.
i just got the derby dynamo skin/challenges. can’t find the challenges anywhere. it seems like they’re MIA because of the knew quest/punch card system but it is hard to tell. was curious if anyone actually figure this out yet.
I thought that the Derby Dynamo bundle was a good deal, so I bought it, but when I did it took a few seconds while the game gave me an error screen. It gave me the skin with all the styles already unlocked (I’m assuming that’s normal) but no V-Buck challenges. Any help? I bought it on Switch.
The issue is clearly widespread which further indicates that a fix or compensation for players’ losses will be required on a larger scale. However, affected players may not have to dwell with the problem for too long.
This is because Fortnite Status has acknowledged the issue where Derby Dynamo Challenges are not showing up in the Quests & Punchcards tab for those who purchased the quest pack.
It seems the game developer is aware of the problem and might be working on a solution which further indicates that a fix for the issue might arrive in the near future.
However, this is still based on speculation and a fix might not be required as Fortnite support has further suggested that affected players might get compensated.
It has been said that the missing quests will be auto-completed for all affected players. Thus it is possible that affected Fortnite players might automatically receive the supposed V-Bucks for all Derby Dynamo Challenges which are not showing up.
Hopefully, the game developer and publisher properly compensates affected players soon so that they can further progress in Fortnite without any hassle.
That said, we will be back with more stories related to Fortnite and other games as and when we get new information to share so stay tuned.
