Far Cry 5 arcade multiplayer not working properly for some, issue under investigation

Far Cry series has been around since 2004 and it is among the most popular franchises from Ubisoft. While the sixth main title in the series, Far Cry 6, is yet come out, Far Cry 5 is still the latest entry.

Far Cry 5 came out in 2018 and it is played by many across numerous platforms like Windows, Xbox One, PS4, and Stadia. However, Far Cry 5 players have been facing some issues with the arcade multiplayer mode lately.

As per multiple reports, the arcade multiplayer mode in Far Cry 6 is not working properly and is preventing users from joining online games. This is also preventing them from achieving trophies in the game and hence progressing further.

User reports outline that Lobby Browser under Multiplayer Lobbies remains empty and does not show any games to join. It is unclear why the arcade multiplayer mode in Far Cry 5 is not working expected but some users feel that it might be a server side issue.

However, Ubisoft has said that there are currently no server side issues affecting the Far Cry 6 arcade multiplayer mode. Thus the exact cause of the problem is still a mystery.

Is Far Cry five arcade dead? I spoke to a Ubisoft support they said everything is good on their end, but I’m hearing that a lot of players can’t even join arcade mode. I only need one trophies for platinum “win 10 feature maps”

The issue appears to be widespread and there is currently no way to fix it which is further adding to players’ dilemma. However, affected Far Cry 5 players may not have to face this problem too long.

This is because Ubisoft has acknowledged the problem stating that they are aware of the issues affecting some players in the Far Cry 5 arcade multiplayer mode. Also, the relevant teams are investigating the problem.

It is possible that the issues where arcade multiplayer is not working properly for some Far Cry 5 players may get resolved in the near future.

However, this is still based on speculation as no ETA has been provided by Ubisoft Support in their acknowledgement.

So, it might be a while before a proper fix for the problem arrives. It is, however, still good to see that the issues with arcade multiplayer in Far Cry 5 are being looked into.

Hopefully, Ubisfot soon fixes the aforementioned problem in Far Cry 5 so that players can enjoy arcade multiplayer games without any hassle.
