[Update: Fixed] Google My Business Info tab not working for some users (error 429), fix coming soon

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on September 23, 2021) follows:

Google My Business platform allows users to easily manage their business profile. Also, vendors can engage with consumers across Google Search and Google Maps for free.

Business owners can verify their info via Google My Business which can further help to enhance their online presence. In fact, the service has helped a lot of business owners to grow lately.

However, an issue appears to be causing some troubles for those with a Google My Business account. As per multiple reports, the Info section or tab in Google My Business is not working properly.

Users are getting error 429 while accessing the Info tab in their Google My Business account. This is inconveniencing them as they are unable to edit or update their business info.

The issue appears to be widespread and there is currently no way to bypass error 429 on Google My Business. It is unclear what the exact cause of the problem is but it appears to be a fault at Google’s server-side.

When trying to access the Info tab on the Google My Business platform I am unable to see the page.

Consistently being given a 429 error. Has anyone else seen this or know a fix for this error?

My business is not showing, i try to edit info but i keep getting error 429:
The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.
Please help.

However, affected Google My Business account holders may not have to face this issue for too long as it has been acknowledged by support.
