The Elder Scrolls Online has been around since 2014 and it received the Clockwork City downloadable content in 2017.
While The Elder Scrolls Online: Clockwork City has a decent user base, players have been facing an issue with it lately.
As per multiple reports, ESO players have been facing a bug with the Deepening Shadows quest in the Clockwork City DLC.
Reports indicate that players are unable to interact with Animo Core which is further preventing them from completing the ‘Take the Charged Animo Core’ objective.
The issue appears to be widespread and is inconveniencing players as Deepening Shadows is among the main quests in Clockwork City.
Just wanted to point out to potential players going into clockwork city for your adventure, currently you cant progress the Deepening Shadows even after the server maintanence today. I am also facing the internal error when i try queueing for imperial city to do my event tickets 🙁

As of the latest patch, the main quest “Deepening Shadows” is currently not completable for many players, including myself.
When you get to the Ventral Terminus, you cannot interact with the Charged Amino Core to advance the mission.

It is unclear what the exact cause of this bug with Deepening Shadows is but ESO players may not contend with it for too long.
Bethesda Support has acknowledged the issue stating that they are aware of this bug and are working to fix it. Also, the fix is expected to come with an upcoming incremental patch.
This further indicates that the next ESO update might include the fix for this bug with Deepening Shadows.
Hello! We are aware of this bug, and we are working on a fix that will go out in an upcoming incremental patch. Thank you for your understanding.

This is still based on speculation as Bethesda Support has not provided any ETA for the bug fix or the incremental patch.
It is, however, still good to see that the aforementioned issue has been acknowledged and is being looked into.
Hopefully, the game developer and publisher resolve this bug soon so that players can complete the Deepening Shadows quest in ESO without any hassle.
That said, we will report back with more details as and when we get new information to share so stay tuned.
