World of Warships is a battle simulation game that lets players dive into the world of battleships. It was released in 2017 and is developed by Wargaming Group Limited.

The free-to-play multiplayer game features a collection of more than 400 ships. From gigantic battleships to stealthy destroyers, players can enjoy the game however they want.

World of Warships also allows players to customize their ships and make upgrades. It is a chaotic multiplayer game where players can battle each other or team up with friends for some PvE action.

Even though World of Warships is really fun to play with friends, some bugs and issues negatively affect the gameplay.

Having said that, a recent glitch is affecting the gameplay at every level. According to reports, World of Warships has a Torpedo aim bug.

Players say that whenever they fire a torpedo, it misses the target and veers off in a different direction. This has frustrated players to the point where they want to quit the game.

You can see in the video below that the torpedos hit a different target altogether and sunk the wrong ship.

Today while playing my Yoshino, I noticed that when I aimed my torp next to an island while turning, they actually hit the island instead of going next to it, anyone know why this happens?

I am not sure how to put this or whether this warrant a post. But after the update when I have played dozens of games with dds and cruisers and when I launch and aim the torpedoes close to an island, multiple times the torpedoes don’t go where I aimed and they ended up hitting the island instead of going where it is supposed to.

Is anyone else experiencing this bug? Or is it just me? Basically something feels different with the torpedo launching after the update. I will try to look at some replays if it is needed.

The World of Warships Torpedo aim bug is haunting players for months, which is really a long time.

Fortunately, Wargaming Group Limited has acknowledged the World of Warships Torpedo aim bug and said they are working on a fix.

According to the developers, the issue will be fixed in patch 0.10.8. While it is good to hear that the glitch is finally being addressed, we wonder what took the developers so long to fix such a simple issue.
