Splitgate has been making headlines for all sorts of reasons, even before its launch. The game has managed to remain in the spotlight ever since it was released on the consoles.

The popular Halo-style first-person shooting game recently encountered a massive influx of players that brought its servers.

Along with the increase in the player base, the number of bugs brought to notice by the players also increased.

The Splitgate team that comprised just four developers worked day and night to improve the game and fix all the issues affecting the game.

But it looks like the game is not going to stop when it comes to popularity and bugs. The latest glitch Splitgate players are reporting is with the Portal itself.

Like the famous groundbreaking bug that affected previous Grand Theft Auto games, the latest Splitgate portal glitch lets users discover the bottom of the map with some players going underground.

I found a glitch in the Patheon map, in one of the buildings, there is a spot where you can place two portals below and above you and one of times when I was doing that I was teleported underground, please fix it.

@Splitgate @SplitgateStatus there is a bug where you glitch through walls when make a “loop” like putting a portal infront of each other. I walked backwards and it just glitched

While the portal glitch is not game-breaking in any sense, it literally is ground-breaking.

We recommend you not try the glitch in normal matches since people might report you as a cheater/hacker.

Some people have reported the issue to the developers, but Splitgate is yet to acknowledge the issue.

Before the developers fix the glitch, you can try it out in custom matches and have some fun!
