Is Sportsbet down, or not working? Please be informed that the service is seemingly going through an outage in some regions which has got affected users to route to micro-blogging site Twitter and other online discussion platforms to highlight their concern.

Here is what users get to see:

A quick look at Down detector – a service that gives a realtime overview of outages and other issues – reflects Sportsbet is encountering a glitch in some regions in Australia. Here’s a live outage map showcasing the same:

According to reports, the app does not work or load. Hence, users aren’t able to place any bets.

Coincidentally this outage followed right after the announcement of Dusty’s comeback went live. We’re not sure if or not the outage is related

It could be that the issue is due to a high load on the servers, but at this point, it is hard to say.

Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter, well, it’s yet to come. But be informed, we’re keeping a continuous tab on the service’s social media and other official channels for more information.

Now even the website is also acting up and throwing the following error:

While the live outage map conveys that more areas are affected now (as can be seen in the image below), the escalating number of complaints on Twitter also conveys the same.

While responding to one of the user queries Betfair help has shared that Sportsbet is encountering technical difficulties right now, and the matter is being looked into.

Thank you for your patience. The trading team have stated that their colleagues in Sportsbet are experiencing technical difficulties and so they are unable to offer any of the NRL games live. The technical team are currently working on this issue

The issue has apparently been resolved as the site is back up.

10:48 am (IST): It appears that Sportsbet is encountering technical glitches right now as some users have reported facing difficulties while placing a bet (1,2,3).

06:25 pm (IST): It seems that the recent issues with Sportsbet have been fixed as there are no fresh reports.
