Disney+, a.k.a., Disney Plus is currently down and not working for many subscribers around the world on the Xbox platform.

Frustrated users have been storming Twitter, Reddit, and other similar social media sites to seek help or an explanation regarding the issue.

The service has been down on the Xbox platform for a few hours and fresh reports continue to pop up on Twitter.

According to Disney+ subscribers, the service went down and has not been working for hours as it shows an error message saying ‘Something went wrong.’

Luckily, Disney+ Help has acknowledged the problem on Twitter and has confirmed that the team is working to resolve the issue that’s affecting Xbox devices over the past few hours.

While the team has not shared an ETA for the fix, we can expect it to be resolved sooner rather than later.

At present, it’s unclear why Disney+ is not working on Xbox devices. It could be that a recent update to the Disney+ app for Xbox could be to blame, however, it’s hard to say that for a fact.

That being said, we’ll keep tabs on the situation and will post an update if and when we get our hands on any further information.

Update 1 (December 26, 2022)

08:49 am (IST): AWS is currently undergoing an outage which has resulted in many services being disrupted, including Disney Plus.

Reports on Twitter (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and Downdetector have been piling up for a while but there’s no official response yet.

Update 2 (February 17, 2023)

02:22 pm (IST): According to fresh reports (1, 2, 3, 4), Disney Plus Hotstar is currently down or not working for many users. The outage is affecting users in several countries including India and Canada.

Fortunately, the support teams for Canada and India have acknowledged this outage and said that they are working to resolve it.

Update 3 (February 20, 2023)

05:03 pm (IST): The recent Disney+ Hotstar outage has been resolved.

Update 4 (March 10, 2023)

08:54 am (IST): The Disney streaming platform is in the midst of an outage (1, 2), which affects services like Disney Plus, ESPN Plus and Hulu. There is no ETA for a fix yet.

05:38 pm (IST): Since no new outage-related reports have surfaced in a few hours, it looks like Disney Plus is running smoothly again.
