Uploading Problems - Hi all, some of you may be experiencing problems with uploading to SFS - apologies!... https://t.co/3fqCOyr8dL— SimFileShare (@SimFileShare) December 31, 2018
[Updated] SimFileShare website (simfileshare.net) currently down & not working
There are new updates that have been added at the bottom of this story…
Original story (from January 07) follows:
The website of SimFileShare, a file hosting service for players of The Sims series, is currently down. If you try opening the site, you’ll find it’s completely inaccessible – you get “504 Gateway Time-out” error.
Of course, this is affecting users of the service, or simmers (as they are popularly known). Several of them are taking to online platforms like Twitter to share their experience. Take a look:
Mine says 502 error before earlier it said 504

Now no one can access it at all. A bit of warning would have been nice if it no longer works.

If you take a look at the official SimFileShare Twitter handle, you’ll see the service acknowledged an uploading issue on December 31, but has been quiet since then.
And going by some of the user reports, it appears the site has also been down since then.
It's been 7 days. Why isn't your site working yet???— 🌊 Lily Bergeron (@Lily_Warrior) January 7, 2019
Even the service’s Tumblr account hasn’t posted any update on this issue.
