New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on July 10, 2021) follows:

Fitbit is a well-known and one of the most respected fitness tracker brands. After being acquired by Google, the company has decided to venture into the fashionable fitness industry niche.

As a result, the latest by the company is the Fitbit Luxe, a stylish fitness tracker that caters to women. It is the first band by Fitbit that features an AMOLED screen instead of an LCD.

While other Fitbit devices focus more on providing tech and value, Luxe is designed for those looking for a good-looking fitness tracker.

Having said that, the Fitbit Luxe starts at $149.99, which is quite aggressive compared to other products from the company.

Released in April this year, the Fitbit Luxe seems to be plagued by multiple connectivity issues.

Many users have reported that the watch is not syncing with the app, while others report no call notifications, irregular sleep tracking, Bluetooth not connecting, amongst many more.

Considering that the Fitbit Luxe came out only three months ago, it should be the last device encountering multiple connectivity issues.

If you are suffering from the sync issue, you can try removing the device from your Fitbit application and set up Luxe as a new device so it can sync instantaneously.

This workaround has proven to be successful for many people.

However, the company has neither acknowledged nor denied that Fitbit Luxe is having a hard time syncing with the app.

We hope it’s a software bug or firmware bug that can be fixed with an update. Either way, we’ll just have to wait and see.

As usual, we will post an update once we come across any further information, so make sure to check for further updates.

06:35 pm (IST): In case you missed it, Fitbit rolled out an update for the Luxe to apparently address the issue, according to a mod.

UPDATE: Please note the FW update is now available to everyone.

Check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We expect everyone to receive the update in the coming weeks. Please keep an eye on this update as it’s expected to solve the connectivity issues you have been reporting. (Source)
