Earlier this year Realme launched the cheapest 5G phone at the time, Realme X7 5G. It was a big step by Realme towards achieving its goal of democratizing 5G in India.

But it was disappointing to see the smartphone launch with Android 10 in 2021, though Realme promised that they would soon release Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 for the phone.

The update was promised to arrive in Q2, and now just a week before Q2 ends, the company has started the Realme UI 2.0 Open Beta program for the X7 5G.

The beta program was announced through the official community forums, as seen below.

Realme X7 5G users can now apply into the program to experience the latest and greatest of Android on their smartphones.

Realme has specifically mentioned in the post that Open Beta versions of Realme UI 2.0 may have an unpredictable impact on your X7 5G phone and effect on daily use, so users should enroll at their own risk.

Those who wish to apply for the Open Beta program must have Realme UI 1.0 version RMX3092PU_11.A.14/ RMX3092PU_11.A.16/ RMX3092PU_11.A.17/ RMX3092PU_11.A.18/ RMX3092PU_11.A.20 installed on their Realme X7 5G set.

To apply, go to the Software Update section in the Settings menu, tap on the settings icon in the top right corner and then select the Trial Version option.

After that users will need to provide some details Realme need about them and the application will be completed.

Selected users can expect Realme UI 2.0 Beta to arrive on their smartphone very soon and will be notified about it by Realme.
