Minecraft is a pretty simple-looking sandbox video game that has been available to the public from as far back as May 2009. This Mojang-developed game is loved by many, including children.

Recently, we saw the rollout of Minecraft 1.17 that brought with it a bunch of new artifacts and features to the game including goats, candles and so on. You can learn more about that here.

Minecraft update

However, there seems to be an issue with this release of Minecraft as players are reporting having issues finding Diamond Ores in Bedrock within the game.

According to users, the Diamonds are pretty hard to come by following the 1.17 update, which would imply that Minecraft might have tweaked the distribution of these in-game gems.

Update 1 (June 22)

IST 11:23 am: There are several ways to find diamonds in Minecraft 1.17, however, Gamesradar has come up with some of the best ways to find the precious stone in the game. The most useful tip of which is to remember that diamonds only spawn below Y=16.

You can even search for them near lava pools and explore deep caves. Better still, if you have an enchantment table, use a Fortune Pickaxe to mine the ore.

Update 2 (July 06)

IST 12:56 pm: Minecraft 1.17.2 Bedrock seems to have addressed this issue.
