These days there’s a growing concern regarding privacy since just about everything is connected to the internet.

Data breaches have become all too common which has led many to take measures to keep their important data safe and secure.

Of course, there are a plethora of apps and tools available to keep your important files and data secure. But the most common route smartphones users take is downloading a secure vault app.

KeepSafe is one such vault application that lets iOS and Android users store important images and videos safely by locking them down with PIN protection, fingerprint authentication, and military-grade encryption.

The app regularly bags updates to keep things functioning smoothly and at times these updates even bring some new features and tweaks.

But it seems that a recent update — version 10.5.0 — many KeepSafe users on iOS devices noticed that their images and videos were wiped away from the app.

Naturally, seeing all their photos and videos wiped away from the KeepSafe vault, users on iOS devices have been trying to seek an explanation from the developers regarding the problem.

An individual even highlighted that while the app does not show any images or videos after the update, going into the app’s settings does show that the data is still present in it.

This indicates that the images and videos that were stored in the KeepSafe vault aren’t deleted from the app but have been hidden from view due to a bug.

Luckily, KeepSafe support was quick to respond to affected users by confirming that they’re aware of the bug that removed images and videos from view in the app on iOS devices.

The team has claimed that a fix for the problem is on the verge of rolling out and users should look forward to the release of version 10.5.2 of the app that’s expected to arrive today.

KeepSafe users with iOS devices who noticed that their images and videos were wiped away have been asked to not uninstall the app under any circumstances.

Looks like we have a small issue for some iOS users, if you are seeing an issue with the app, please send a message to [email protected] and DO NOT UNINSTALL under any circumstances. Thanks for your patience (Source)

Uninstalling the app would most likely result in you actually losing all the data that was stored in the app.

So hang in there. The fix for the bug that wiped away images and videos in the KeepSafe app from view on iOS devices is likely to be released in the next few hours.
