World of Warcraft is an MMORPG released way back in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment. It has continued to sustain a massive playerbase thanks to continual updates and a hyperactive community.

However, several users have recently been facing a pretty bothersome issue pertaining to PvP ranks. According to complaints, the Classic WoW PvP honor rank is not updating since the past few days.

@BlizzardCSEU_EN Hi Blizzard Care to answer today? Why didn’t you update the honor ranks as promised? Same problem on US realms.

BLIZZARD! To not allow the players of this game that slaved for hours and paying to play this game to not get to purchase the gear they earned (the way they earned it) before the next expansion is not fair on any level. NOT COOL!

In Classic WoW, the Honor PvP system serves as a way to compare your efforts against other players in your server.

The current ranking for the week is determined by summing up the number of HKs you’ve accumulated for the week with all your HKs before. There are a total of 14 ranks per faction, which award your character a title and some other benefits.

However, as it stands, this ranking system hasn’t exactly been functioning expectedly as several players since last week did not get the title they deserved even after grinding through the PvP.

Blizzard had earlier announced that the progress will be saved and the new rank to be taken onto TBC will be calculated around 8 AM CEST on May 18.

However, last Monday when the honor from Sunday was updated, it was still considered as “this week’s honor” instead of “last week’s honor”, and user ranks never really got updated, which is frustrating, to say the least.

If you are one of the users being plagued by this problem, then there’s some good news. Blizzard has actually acknowledged the honor rank issue on WoW Classic PvP.

Not too many details have been given about as to exactly what will be done to address the same, but that is understandable considering that the issue is currently only under the investigation stage.
