Xiaomi Redmi K30i 5G MIUI 12.5 stable update just went live (Download link inside)
The Xiaomi Redmi K30i 5G was the first Redmi phone to offer 5G from the OEM and was launched last year in June. This has been made possible by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor.
The device provides integrated SA/NSA dual-mode 5G using the cutting edge 7nm SOC and an ‘integrated low-power consumption solution.’
On the software side of things, the Xiaomi Redmi K30i 5G came with MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box, both of which were the latest available software versions at the time.
But fast forward to today, and Xiaomi has already pushed Android 11 to most of its eligible offerings combined with MIUI 12. The K30i 5G is no different and the wait has been on for MIUI 12.5 ever since.
That has finally come to an end though, at least in China, where Xiaomi is now seeding the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 stable beta update for the Xiaomi Redmi K30i 5G.
For the uninitiated, the MIUI 12.5 update brings about a slew of changes with the most notable ones being performance improvements, enhanced privacy features, an updated Notes app, new animations, and some UI tweaks.
