The Mi 10S is a reboot of sorts of the Mi 10 Pro which is Xiaomi’s flagship from last year. Both phones are near identical aside from a slightly tweaked design and an upgraded processor on the former.

The Mi 10S was released in mid-March and was included in the MIUI 12.5 Chinese beta testing program a month later.

This meant that it has been receiving continual beta updates – with the frequency reaching as high as three times a week.

But of course, these beta updates are limited to the participants of the testing program alone which meant that the vast majority of users have still been eagerly waiting to get a taste of MIUI 12.5 stable.

The wait has now officially come to an end though, at least in China, where Xiaomi is now seeding the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 stable beta update for the Xiaomi Mi 10S.
