HBO Max is right up there as one of the most popular streaming services thanks to the variety of content available on the platform.

Some HBO Max shows are also available in different languages to make it easier for viewers to watch shows in languages they’re comfortable with.

The option to pick an alternate language is available on all platforms. So if a show offers multiple languages, you should see an option to pick between the available ones.

But it seems that some HBO Max users are running into language issues while try to consume content on some devices.

An individual highlighted the problem on Twitter by stating that the audio for a show (Witches) plays in Spanish on their Roku device, however, it plays in English on their laptop.

Needless to say, being unable to watch a show in your preferred language can be a tad disappointing. Especially when alternative language options are available for the show on other devices.

Fortunately, HBO Max support was quick to respond to the individual and has claimed that they are aware of the current language issues.

According to the support team, HBO Max is currently working to resolve the problem at the earliest.

The team, however, did not provide an ETA for the fix. Hence, it could take a few hours, days, or weeks for the problem to get addressed.

As usual, we’ll keep tabs on the situation and will post an update if and where there are any further developments regarding the issue.
