Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why eBay isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

A quick look at micro-blogging site Twitter conveys there are many other affected by the same issue. For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that eBay is indeed going through a glitch in some regions.

Any official word on the matter? Negative, as yet. We’re yet to locate a word from the official service channels or their social media handles.

12:42 pm (IST): eBay servers are back up and running.

03:42 pm (IST): Multiple users report that eBay search engine is currently down or not working for them (1, 2, 3).

05:10 pm (IST): The issue that was affecting the eBay search engine has finally been resolved.
