[Update: May. 05] Oppo Reno4 5G & Reno4 Pro 4G ColorOS 11 (Android 11) update status: What we know so far
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on November 07, 2020) follows:
Oppo Reno4 5G and Oppo Reno4 Pro 4G came out with Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 and are eligible for the ColorOS 11 (Android 11) update.
So far, only Oppo Find X2 and Oppo Find X2 Pro have received the stable ColorOS 11 (Android 11) update which came out pretty recently.
Oppo has shared the official ColorOS 11 (Android 11) beta update timeline and it has also been mentioned that over 28 models will be upgraded with the latest OS.
As per the shared roadmap, Oppo Reno4 5G and Oppo Reno4 Pro 4G are expected to get the ColorOS 11 (Android 11) beta update this month.
However, the OEM has not made any announcements on the matter yet so the wait for the latest OS beta update is still on for both devices in question.
While there has been no word on the Reno4 5G getting the beta update since then, both devices might start getting the same this month.
Oppo is known for staying true to its word so its safe to assume that users of the Oppo Reno4 5G and Reno4 Pro 4G can expect to get the latest OS beta update soon.
It must be noted that the ColorOS 11 (Android 11) alpha testing recruitment started recently for Oppo A52 in India.
This clearly suggests that the OEM intends to deliver the latest OS update to all its eligible devices on time.
That said, we will keep tracking the development of Oppo Reno4 5G and Oppo Reno4 Pro 4G and will keep this post updated as and when new details come to light.
