Google’s survey administration software, Google Forms, is used across the globe in various domains.

From educational purposes to corporate surveys, Google Forms comes as a handy tool for keeping tabs on relevant data.

However, users of the survey administration service have been facing an issue where duplicate responses of Google Forms are getting submitted.

While this issue first came to light almost a year ago, it seems that users are still facing the problem.

It is unclear what is causing the Google Forms duplicate responses or repeated submissions issue.

Also, there has been no official word on the matter from the tech giant which further adds to users’ dilemma.

Nevertheless, the issue might soon get addressed by Google as a Google Community support Product Expert has made some efforts.

Since the original issue thread is from last year, the Product Expert has created a new thread on the Google Support community as new user reports stated coming in on the old thread.

Moreover, the Product Expert asked affected users to share as much information about the issue on the new thread as possible.

Since the new thread has generated enough user reports with relevant details, the issue has been escalated to the concerned team.

Hopefully, the tech giant resolves the issue soon as it appears to be affecting users for quite some time now.

I’ve Escalated this thread, and referred to the original April 2020 thread as well.
I’ll post back if / when I have info.
