Brave Browser is considered, by many, to be one of the best alternatives to Google Chrome and Microsoft’s Edge browser.

Brave is based on Chromium and offers a ton of features that aren’t found on both the aforementioned popular web browsers including browsing with Tor, which is way more secure than VPNs.

Apart from that, it also comes with the Brave Rewards program that lets users earn BAT or Basic Access Token by watching “privacy-respecting ads”.

Users can then claim the BAT to their cryptocurrency wallets or directly tip their favorite creators or publishers on the platform.

Of course, if you’ve been using Brave Browser, you probably already know this. That said, Brave Rewards users are now facing issues while porting BAT from their browser wallet to their Uphold wallet.

Thankfully, rather than leaving users in the dark regarding the issue, Brave Support has acknowledged the problem and has created an official thread on the community to track all developments.

The team initially suggested that users upgrade their browsers to v1.22.67 and then disconnect and reconnect their Uphold wallet.

While this step did fix the problem for some affected users, other Brave Rewards users are still unable to port BAT to their Uphold wallet.

This too has been acknowledged by Brave Support who are claiming that the issue is still under investigation.

Unfortunately, there’s the support team has not shared an ETA for a permanent fix. Hence, you may have to deal with the problem for longer.

As usual, we will keep track of the situation and will post an update if and when the Brave Browser team shares more information regarding the issue while porting BAT to an Uphold wallet.
