The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series created quite some ripples across the entire smartphone market with its extremely premium spec sheet at ridiculously low prices.

Of course, the Redmi Note series has always been well known for being bang for the buck, but its latest iteration has taken stuff to new heights by shipping the lineup (bar the 5G variant) with a 1080p AMOLED display.

Xiaomi did pull off a similar move with the Mi A3 in the past, but that one was pricier than the cheapest among the new Redmi Note series and offered a 720p AMOLED display which isn’t really too great by today’s standards.

Nonetheless, as many may already be aware, the Redmi Note 10 series has been announced to come with Android 11 out of the box. This is kind of unsurprising though considering that the Android version has now been present for a while now.

Moreover, Android 12 is also undergoing some rapid development as we speak, so yeah, that is another thing to look forward to.

What actually is surprising though is that a new update has now been released for almost all the Redmi Note 10 Pro variants. This comes even before the device has actually been rolled in any region. Like for example, the device has its first flash sale in India on March 17.

Another amusing thing is the fact that almost every regional variant of the device is carrying a different update version. The Indian and Russian Redmi Note 10 Pro have bagged MIUI 12.0.1.0, the Indonesian one is being treated to 12.0.2.0, while the EEA variant has received 12.0.3.0.

Of course, these versions barely have any differences in terms of features since they are all based on MIUI 12, but it was still something worth pointing out.

If all goes well, you should see an OTA update as soon as you power on and set up your new device for the very first time. The update will hopefully be tiny in size since it only brings about some optimizations.

Anyway, the download links for each of the updates have been given below just in case, along with the changelog.

Anyway, you will be pleased to know that the Redmi Note 10 series, or at least the Pro variants, will be one of the first devices to bag a stable MIUI 12.5 update based on Android 11. Hence, you might want to keep an eye on our tracker for the same.
